Because Everything’s Better in
Chessington, Surrey UK, 26 Sept 2012 – SEGA announces the release of Key Master Colors.
Pink Sega Keymaster
About Key Master
In the fall of 2010, SEGA took delivery of the very first Key Master. Over the past 2 years, Key
Master has gone on to become the No1 game in the industry and has shown itself to be more than just
capable of high earning, it’s a solidly built machine with many features operators and location owners
have been pleasantly surprised by – features that increase reliability, durability, flexibility and security.
But like many prize-vending games, Key Master had an appliance-white, monochromatic color scheme.
About Key Master Colors
Several out-of-the-box operators requested SEGA offer Key Master in other colors.
These operators wanted to bank a number of Key Masters in the same location with each offering a
different prize pack marketed to different demographics i.e. all male prizes, all female prizes, all high
value prizes, etc.
When placed side-by-side, these operators were unable to create enough of a distinction between the
appliance-white games using prizes alone. Players didn’t see enough differences one game to the other
to create awareness, interest, desire and action on their part.
Introducing Key Masters Colors.
“Key Master Colors creates an immediate visual distinction from one game to the other,” said SEGA
US General Manger, Pete Gustafson. “This distinction in colors creates a curious player and a curious
player creates higher revenues and faster ROI’s.” Income tests by SEGA have concluded that the
addition of Key Master Colors does not dilute income across the machines but with the right mix of
merchandise, actually increases the overall income.
SEGA put quite a bit of thought into selecting the five new colors. “Our objective was to create an array
of colors schemes that were both contemporary and visually stimulating,” continued Gustafson. “We
looked to the consumer electronics and sports apparel industries and saw companies like Nike offering
custom color schemes for athletic shoes and Apple offering a wide variety of colors for I-Pods and other
products. Those bright and bold color palates inspired our choices for the five versions of Key Master Colors.”
The 5 colors are named Coral Pink, Lemon Yellow, Ice Blue, Orange Sherbet and Electric Lime.
“Key Master Colors allows operators to place visually distinct games in the same location and
merchandise them for individual demographics,” stated Gustafson. “We envision operators placing Coach
Purses, manicure coupons, and day spa certificates in Coral Pink Key Masters next to an Ice Blue
game loaded with team sports apparel, handheld game consoles, and Madden 13 game software next to
an Electric Lime game fitted with high-end personal consumer electronics devices. The possibilities are
only limited by the operator’s imagination.”
All versions of Key Master fit in the same assembled foot print – 39”D X 38”W X 73”H.
People in the Coin Machine business have to count money for their profession. This is not glamorous, but often dirty, tedious work. Anyone, who has to count serveral coins can testify to the monotonous task, particularly for hand counting.
We have a Cummins Jetsort professional counter that is used for counting larger sums of quarters for delivery to the bank. This is the clearly the easiest and most efficient way to count coins in larger than $1000 dollar quantities. The machine is fast and bags the coins in the appropriate amounts for delivery to the bank. Its efficient, easy and the counter is just plain awesome.
We also own manual and electric coin counters by Klopp for use on locations. The electric is easier and faster, but of course, has to be plugged in. The manual machines are efficient, work well and do not need electricity. The coin tray size limits how many coins you can count at a time. You also have to manually scoop the coins into the rotary area to go through the machine. Manual and Electric models have constant quarter sticking issues that you have to loosen.
We also sell and service some imported electric coin counters. These are efficient and offer a similar counting experience to the Klopp machines.
AC 603 Coin Scale
My favorite model for on location counting is the AC 603 coin scale by Acucount. It really cannot be any easier. You turn it on, pour in the quarters and right down the total. It is quick, quiet and saves a step. If you are collecting a location with multiple machines, and you like a total per machine, there is simply no easier or faster way to accomplish this task. A manual rotary counter, takes a few minutes to get through a few hundred dollars in quarters. You have to continually scoop the money into the counter, you have to crank the counter and have some system for holding the bag as it fills with coins. Then you have to do the math to convert the numeric count into a total amount of money. With the scale, you pour the coins in, write down the total from the screen and convert to a bag. I estimate a savings in time of four minutes per machine. This time is valuable and adds up quickly.
This is not the only scale that I have tried. Other scales have to be “set up” each time you go onto location. This certainly reduces ease of use. You only set up the AC 603 Coin Scale once, and then it stays ready as you collect or count coins.
AC603, by far the best method for counting bulk coin
Including: Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, Half dollars, dollar coin. And 2 open spots for tokens, etc.
FAST: All counts are done in less than 1.5 seconds
SILENT: No reason to sound like a One Armed Bandit – You do not want to advertise where and how much money you have
Compact and Light
AC603 weighs only 3.14 lbs. with the cover, Tray 4.4 lbs. including the case, totals out at 6.9 lbs.
Accurate and easy to use
Internal circuitry and technology allows for simplistic and reliable dependability
Extremely user friendly, 99% or its users have complete competency in its operation in less than 10 minutes

Birmingham Vending is proud to present Tower of Hanoi to our customers. At Birmingham Vending we have had great success selling and operating many different instant prize redemption machines over the past several years. I believe Tower of Hanoi could be one of the best yet. It offers quick, yet exciting game play. I personally found the game to be challenging and very fun. We highly recommend this merchandiser for all types of locations.
At Andamiro we did it again by introducing successful prize redemption games one after the other. After a huge success of winners’ cube game Andamiro is proud to introduce the “TOWER OF HANOI” video prize redemption game.
Innovation driven, “TOWER OF HANOI” is set to become the most unique instant prize redemption game on the market promising enormous payouts and consumer satisfaction. With captivating music and mesmerizing looks, “TOWER OF HANOI” proves to be a great investment in any environment.
Players simply press the start/drop button to release rings from the swinging arm and stack them around a pole directly on top of each other. Add to the fun and make the game challenging, speed of the swinging arm increases after each successful drop and the rings get smaller and smaller. Players can choose to accept a minor prize at the successful dropping of 7th ring around the pole or continue pitting their skills to win a major prize at the successful drop of the 10th ring. There are four pigtail prize hangers to display major prizes and five minor prize pigtail hangers.
Birmingham Vending is proud to represent Speed of Light which is a great new title from Lai Games. Offers a competitive environment where players can prove how fast they are able to recognize and press the lighted buttons. Should be more durable than similar themed hammer and step on games.
The Dolphin Show’s refreshing design and innovative game play allows this ticket redemption game to become an unforgettable experience for players. The objective of Dolphin Show is very simple and straightforward as players will timely launch the colored ball into a revolving playfield which has holes with different ticket values. The aggregate number of tickets earned during free plays will be the grand winning that the player receives. This game of skill has shown immense potential to yield consistent income immediately in every location it is already in. With captivating tunes and spectacular lighting effects, Dolphin Show appears to be a promising investment for operators.

August 12th, 2011 – LAI Games has created a new prize capsule dispensing version of Mega Stacker for locations without ticket redemption.
LAI Games has responded to the strong demand from operators that want the great revenue earning power of Mega Stacker but don’t have a redemption counter. Unlike the original version of the game, which features major prizes vended from cabinets and tickets vended for the minor prizes, the new version replaces tickets with prize capsules (either 2” or 3”).
With both options now available Mega Stacker is suitable for a much wide range of entertainment locations. With earnings of over $3,000 a week and a $2 or $3 vend price Mega Stacker is proving to be a huge success.
Mega Stacker combines both major prize merchandisers and a minor prize capsule dispenser into a single unit. Players reaching the Minor Prize level of the game receive a prize capsule, while those who reach the Major Prize level get to choose a prize from one of five lighted window compartments. Extensive operator-selectable settings, including prize payout, enable operators to maximize profits at many different major prize price points.
At over 8 feet wide and nearly 10 feet tall, Mega Stacker creates a striking presence and is the ideal centre piece for large game rooms. The mega-size LED playfield, dynamic cabinet lighting and pulse-pounding sound effects really pull in the crowds.

MELROSE PARK, IL – August 11, 2011– Stern Pinball, Inc., the world’s only maker of real pinball games has been featured in three different major news stories in the past month including one on the CBS Sunday Evening News and two back-to-back stories on CNN Money.
The CBS story focuses on the growth of location pinball and looks at the thriving Portland pinball community. The CNN Money stories tell the history of Stern Pinball, Inc. and how to make a new pinball machine from start to finish. “News stories like these are great for generating more awareness of pinball and our company. Pinball is definitely enjoying a world wide resurgence and it’s great to see,” said Gary Stern, founder and CEO of Stern Pinball, Inc.
About Stern Pinball, Inc.
Stern Pinball, Inc., located just outside Chicago, Illinois, designs and manufactures arcade-quality pinball games. Stern is the only maker of full-sized, arcade quality pinball games on the planet and has released many popular games including Avatar, Iron Man, Batman, Spiderman, The Rolling Stones and many more. Stern’s games continue to be enjoyed by both pinball enthusiasts and casual players around the globe.
The player surmounts two challenges to win a prize. The first is to keep track of a diamond that is displayed on the game’s 32″ horizontal LCD monitor that moves swiftly from one inverted cup to another (five in all), and when the shuttling stops, to choose the cup hiding the jewel.
Success with that first step allows the patron to advance to the Showcase Showdown: a video graphics depiction of the trademark big wheel spinning and a chance to win the super bonus.
The Price Is Right Shell Game measures 95″ high (with eye-catching marquee publicizing the Super Bonus) and features a space-saving footprint that is only 35″ wide x 32″ deep. Options include a stool for sitdown play, a bill validator and an interface for a card reader. It runs on 110V., 6A. or 220V., 3A. power. The game is designed for economical packing in standard containers for international sales: 20- and 40-ft. containers will accommodate 12 and 24 Shell Games, respectively.
To win the jackpot, the player must land the yellow arrow in the “advance” space on the first two wheels to play the jackpot wheel. This seems simple enough, but each advance space offers ticket value that will test the player’s confidence about moving up to the next level or taking the prize that is offered.
